Frog in The Blender

Here's a sneak peek at the Frog in the Blender quilt for Kate's ALQS. I was told to keep the name, that it was catchy! he he...
It still has a couple tweaks to be done to straighten out a seam or two, but it's close to ready to be quilted & embellished. It's bold and a radical combination of traditionally untraditional - which is what I hope my partner will appreciate.

Frog in the blender? You sound like you have way more fun at your house than we have at ours. I like the bright colors in your quilt!

Glad you kept the name-love the retro twist to the classic!

I think she'll love it.(And I know who she is, so I can say that with some authority!) And if she doesn't, she can send it to me :)

Mine is going to have curved flying geese in it as well, funny enough - sneak peek of mine up later today on my blog!

I love the curved flying geese. I have just done a workshop on curved flying geese with Pat Deacon, and was wondering what I could do with the sample I made - I'm so mean, I can't bear to waste fabric or time! Cutting them up would be a great idea, if I'm brave enough!
