Finally, I have had a week with no snow days and mostly all kids at school. This is just a sneak peek of a large applique quilt I am working on. Actually, it is nearly finished - will be done sometime tomorrow. There are 20 of these HUGE blocks. They span 20" so I am really lucky I have a 24" machine. The quilt has a complete ton of ditch stitching around every applique block - Over seven hours of SID! The rest is quilted in shimmery Glide thread to accentuate the delicate feeling of the quilt. This one will be lovely to see off the frame, for sure! I'll have lots of pictures of these blocks because the flowers are all different and are beautiful.

Big job!!! Looks lovely.
What a gorgeous quilt! Just from these two block I find it breathtaking. I'm trying to applique myself for the first time, but it looks NOthing like this... Longing for more pictures.
Your quilting is also a big inspiration for me, trying to lift my quilting to a higher level. Love your quilting and how it gives something extra to a beautiful quilt. Thanks for sharing.
Fab quilting as usual! Will be waiting to see more pics.
This is a beauty...the blocks and the quilting. Certainly a winner.
Can you tell me where you found the patterns for the blocks?
